A Call for Contributors to The Teaching Librarian Magazine

Are you passionate about school libraries? Are you interested in sharing that passion? The Teaching Librarian magazine offers an opportunity for you to spread news about the good work of school libraries.

As an Ontario School Library Association publication, The Teaching Librarian is distributed in school districts throughout the province. It is an effective vehicle to share best practices in your own library through short articles and photographs. You do not need to do extensive research or write a lengthy feature to contribute.

However, we offer support if you would like to tackle something more substantial. Perhaps you have some form of expertise in an area related to school libraries or have an interest in researching a current trend? Maybe you enjoy collecting information about professional development resources? Writing articles for The Teaching Librarian is great way to support your professional development and demonstrate leadership.
